Lisa is a graphic designer based in Exeter who is passionate about equally balancing her work between traditional hand techniques and digital possibilities. 
 
What makes this map so unique?
The typography has been hand made by cutting each letter from cardboard during the first Covid lockdown in the UK.  The process was freehand, without sketching any letters first, and the scissors used were the large kitchen kind. 
This technique was inspired by the french artist, Henri Matisse whose creativity evolved to large cut outs of figures and nature, during the 19th century.
